Effect of impact mechanism and intervention measures on sleep quality of college students addicted to short video: a randomly controlled trial
Overview
This randomized controlled trial examines how short video addiction affects sleep quality in college students and evaluates a multi-component intervention combining cognitive behavioral therapy, digital tools, and social support. The study compares the impacts of personalized versus community-based algorithms and different content types on sleep parameters among 60 participants. Results indicate that personalized algorithms and entertainment content significantly worsen sleep, while the combined intervention effectively improves sleep quality and reduces usage.
