Use and Perceived Helpfulness of Different Intervention Strategies in Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Depression
Overview
This 2024 cross-sectional survey compares the use and perceived helpfulness of 52 treatments among 819 individuals with ME/CFS or depression. The study highlights that participants with ME/CFS engage in a broader range of interventions, particularly pacing and supplements, while those with depression report higher usage of psychotherapy and antidepressants. The resource provides descriptive data on patient-reported outcomes to inform discussions on clinical care structures for these conditions.
