EFFICACY OF DIGITAL COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY APP ON INSOMNIA PATIENTS: POOLED ANALYSIS OF TWO RANDOMIZED, DOUBLE- BLIND, SHAM-CONTROLLED TRIALS
Overview
This pooled analysis of two randomized, double-blind trials evaluates the efficacy and safety of a smartphone-based digital CBT-I app compared to a sham control in patients with insomnia. The study reports that participants using the active intervention demonstrated significantly greater improvements in sleep efficiency and reduced sleep onset latency than those using the sham app over six weeks. The resource is intended for researchers and clinicians interested in clinical trial data regarding digital therapeutics and decentralized trial methodologies.
