Mobile Phone-Delivered Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia: A Randomized Waitlist Controlled Trial
Overview
This randomized controlled trial evaluates the efficacy of Sleepcare, a fully automated mobile phone app delivering cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I). The study compares participants with mild insomnia using the app against a waitlist control group, measuring outcomes such as insomnia severity and sleep efficiency over six to seven weeks. Results indicate significant improvements in the app group that were maintained at a three-month follow-up.
