Gender differences in the influence of app-based mindfulness meditation on emotion regulation: a randomised controlled trial
Overview
This randomized controlled trial examines whether gender moderates the effects of a four-week, app-based mindfulness intervention on emotion regulation and cognitive flexibility among 300 Japanese workers. The study reports exploratory findings suggesting that women may experience greater improvements in these areas compared to men, although these results did not survive correction for multiple testing. The resource is intended for researchers or clinicians interested in digital mental health interventions and individual differences.
