Reducing Stress and Enhancing Academic Buoyancy among Adolescents Using a Brief Web-based Program Based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy: A Randomized Controlled Trial
Overview
This randomized controlled trial evaluates a five-week web- and mobile-delivered Acceptance and Commitment Therapy program called Youth COMPASS for ninth-grade adolescents. The study reports that participants experienced small but significant reductions in stress and increases in academic buoyancy, with the most pronounced benefits observed among those with high initial stress levels.
